PGCE School Direct: Section G

Welcome to the start of your teacher training journey in Partnership with LJMU. We are delighted that you have chosen to begin your career as one of our students and look forward to supporting you once you start on your chosen programme. Our dedicated Partnership website www.itt-placement.com is open to all staff, students and schools in our Partnership. During the course of your training, you will become very familiar with it. We ask new students to focus on this Section (G) to begin to prepare for their course, but you may wish to explore further sections before starting your training, particularly Section D.

After your interview and once you have accepted an offer (whether with LJMU or one of our Partner Schools) you will have received an email from education@ljmu.ac.uk confirming your offer and the start dates for your programme. This email will also have included a booklet containing key information and tasks for you to complete prior to starting the programme. A copy of this booklet can be downloaded from this page too. We have left it in Word format so that, if you choose to do so, relevant tasks within it can be completed electronically. You can also click on the useful websites at the end in order to undertake any research required. Please use this booklet to guide you through the pre-course requirements and ensure that you can demonstrate that you have met all your conditions prior to enrolment. Please also complete the tasks required of you, so that you can start your programme confidently in September.
